* I DARE SAY THAT YOU HAVE A HOUSE HOLD NAME, BUT FOR OUR NEW READERS, WILL YOU INFORM US ONCE MORE WHAT YOUR PARENTS NAMED YOU ?
My name is Nathan Jeremy Rivers, I like the name Nathan because
it's one that you don't come across very often. My mom picked
it because it means the gift of god. Jeremy was my dad's name
so I would never change my middle name. My dad passed away
when I was fifteen and me and him were very close. I'm just
proud to have his name be apart of mine.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* REMIND US AGAIN WHEN YOU WERE BORN? I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF THE STORY SURROUNDING YOUR BIRTH .
I was born on May 12th. My dad was out working on a old car when
my mom came screaming out of the house. My mom is one to
freak out over little things, well giving birth isn't exactly a little
thing but you know what I mean. I came right on my due date
which was actually a surprise because the doctors said I wasn't
ready to come out yet. My mom actually hated getting pregnant
in the winter time because she loved to be outside and you can't
really bring a new born outside in the hot sun.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* OKAY , BE HONEST HERE. WHICH ARE IN TO MORE: GUYS OR DOLLS ? DONT WORRY, OUR LIPS OUR SEALED .
I'm into girls. Enough said.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* TELL ME, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD ? THOSE SPECIAL THINGS THAT JUST MAKE YOU WANT TO SMILE ?
My mom made this photo album for my graduation present. It has tons of
photos of me and my dad in it and I will never let anything
happen to it. My dad's dog tags from being in the army, my
mom also gave me these for my graduation. Sports, I love
hockey and basketball and i'm on the basketball team at the
university but I currently got into hockey and might trade
teams. Food, I'm an awesome cook and I love to try out
new things and have people taste them. Making others
smile is like my goal in life. I just like making other people
laugh or smile when their having a bad day or something.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* AND SADLY, WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE ARE THINGS THAT WE JUST CANT STAND. WHAT ARE YOURS ?
When people judge me and they don't even know who I am.
I hate yelling/fighting but sometimes I just lose control and
get so upset that it's hard to hold back. I hate losing at sports
or even at video games, I mean no one likes losing but I am
a sore loser and will flip out, I'm to hard on myself. I hate getting
on peoples nerves, I know how it feels to be nagged or annoyed
and it doesn't feel good. I hate gossip, I mean I guess my life
is so interesting that others have to follow it.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* WHAT MAKES YOU QUAKE IN YOUR BOOTS ? IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE THING THAT SCARED YOU THE MOST , WHAT WOULD IT BE ?
My mom. She is the nicest lady you'll ever meet but
whenever you push her buttons she can get upset and probably
knock someone out. I remember one time she caught me drinking
at a friends house and man did I get beat that night. Of course
I could take her but she's my mom and i'm not about to fight her.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER IN YOUR LIFE ? HOW DO YOU DO WITH RELATIONSHIPS ?
In any relationship I prefer commitment. I don't do flings
or anything of the sort. Right now I am in a relationship with my
high school sweetheart. I love her, I really do but now she's pregnant
with this other guys baby and I told her that everything is okay
and that i'll take care of her and the baby but all we do it argue.
I guess it's my fault since six months ago she thought I cheated
on her at a stupid party and I just let her go, it was just that she
didn't want to listen so I gave up trying to tell her what really happened.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* NOW , YOU KNOW THAT WE ADORE YOU , BUT LETS TALK ABOUT SOME OTHER PEOPLE FOR A LITTLE BIT. A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE SOME PRETTY WELL KNOWN PARENTS. WHO ARE THEY ?
Growing up I was really close with my father, Jeremy Rivers.
My dad used to be in the army so he was a little tough to be
around but he had a soft heart. Me and him did everything together
until one night he got into a car accident, I was fifteen and could
remember the day clearly. I have nightmares about it almost every
night but I keep it to myself because of my mom, Gloria Rivers.
My mom never looked at any other man after my dad passed.
She is an amazing woman and put me before everything. She
always put up with me and everything I did. One time I brought
home a cricket and tried to hide it from her but it got lose
and hopped right into the pasta sauce. She was mad as hell.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* ANY OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN YOUR FAMILY ? DID YOUR PARENTS HAVE ANY OTHER CHILDREN ? DO YOU HAVE ANY CHILDREN ?
I'm an only child. But my uncle, my dad's brother,
always came around to help out my mom and he always made time
for me. He was my father figure but he moved away to Florida.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* HOW ABOUT PETS ? HOW MANY DO YOU HAVE ?
none, my mom has a pet dog named Jackson but she
got him once I moved out.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
* OKAY, YOU HAVE TO HAVE KNOWN THAT WE WERE GOING TO ASK. WHATS YOUR BIGGEST & BEST KEPT SECRET ?
I don't know if I'm ready to take care of a child, My mom
believes I can but she isn't happy about this whole thing. She
didn't exactly say it but she always brings up money issues
or the you have your whole life speech. I honestly don't
know if this is going to work out.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

s- - - - Jared slept in till noon which was actually early for him. He always went out to the club or to a party, drink a lot, then come back to his crummy apartment to sleep it off and do it all over again the next day. That was of course if he didn't have work. Some nights he would get lucky and bring a girl home with him but most nights he just wanted to be alone with a bottle of vodka by his side. He was now twenty and to the point where the bartender didn't even bother asking for an i.d. or driver's license. It was fun to him anymore, back when he was seventeen he loved the thrill of the chance of being caught with a fake i.d. and now he was a year away from actually being twenty one. Time sure does fly when your having fun. However, Jared got to his feet and stumbled a little trying to make it to the bathroom, the alcohol still was dancing around in his system but now the awful head ache came and it seemed like no amount of pills would stop the pounding and throbbing. He liked to drink the night away and hit on a few girls but the aftermath was his least favorite part. Some mornings he didn't mind the head aches since he was used to them by now but other mornings were hell for him. Jared had been up for a few hours already, he had three days off from work and so he planned on heading out to the club again tonight. He looked himself over in the tiny mirror with a slight crack gliding through it. His eyes were bloodshot from not getting enough sleep and his hair was tossed all over the place. He reached over to the shower and twisted the hot water knob on. After stripping down, he walked into the hot shower and stood in there until he could think clearly.
- - - - Jared always kept himself from thinking to much or putting a lot of thought into things. Normally he used this to keep himself from seeing the reality of things and to keep himself from being hurt. Of course, him being a guy, this came easy to him. It was like if he showed to much emotion toward someone than it made him feel and look weak. That's why on mothers day he just called his mom but didn't make an effort to stop by and say hi. He was an only child which he was glad that he was. His parents weren't the best and he didn't know how he could of token care of a little brother or sister. His dad is currently locked up and his mom had her share of problems. Jared hated to say anything bad about his mom since she was actually not a bad parent. She would correct him whenever he was in the wrong and stuff like that. But some people just couldn't see past the drinking and other stuff she did. Jared had mixed feelings about her. He would try to send her off to rehab but she would never go and make excuses. One night she yelled at him to go to rehab for his drinking problem. He didn't exactly have a problem with drinking but lately it seemed like he did. It's hard to make something of yourself whenever you come from a rocky background and you don't have a penny to your name and that's why Jared hated rich people. They had everything, perfect family, perfect life, perfect job, etc. It just pissed him off, it was like they were on top of the food chain and he was at the very bottom. Plus rich kids always showed off their money like they were better than everyone else. Jared just let the object of money get to him all the time. If he got a hole in his jeans then his mom patched them up but everyone else just went to the store and bought a new pair. Most people wouldn't think that it got to someone like him but it did often and he was good at hiding it.
- - - - Jared stretched his arm out and grabbed one of the white towels. He first buried his face into it then wrapped it around his waist. He walked into his small bedroom and pulled out some clothes which were a pair of jeans with a white t-shirt and his famous leather jacket. He got changed rather quickly then grabbed his keys and headed out the door. It was now around six o'clock so he had some time to kill before going out to the club. He made various stops and picked up items he needed like soap an food. Jared's meals were always from fast food places but it was nice to cook something once in a while although there wasn't much that he could cook. Finally he made his way back to the apartment and placed everything were it needed to go. He threw his keys on the couch then grabbed something to eat out of the kitchen. By the time he was done eating it was time to head out to the club. So, he picked his keys back up and headed out the door once more. He walked down to the street and opened the driver side door then slid in, closing the door behind him. He started the engine then pulled out onto the street. Jared drove for a few minutes until he came to the club building. He found a place to park and got out, locking his door behind him then waited in line with the other people. He showed his fake i.d. then headed inside. He glanced around until his eyes met the bar, he walked swiftly over and took a seat. "Whiskey, on the rocks." he said to the bartender as he placed the money on the bar. Once his drink was placed in front of him he smirked and took a sip before placing it back on the bar. Jared was about to get up before a few girls came over to the bar. He looked them over then smiled to himself. He loved messing around with girls they always got all pissy. Jared arose from his seat at the bar and walked casually over to one of the girls, from the looks of it she had money. Jared grinned and stopped right in front of her with the same smirk he always wore, "Let me guess that purse costs more then everything I own, right?" he said looking her dead in the eyes.
