this is cortlyn. she's twenty and a student who loves art and nature. she's actually a bit of a hippie at heart, and she loves fashion as well. she's nice and outgoing, and tends to care too much about people. she's very passionate about everything she believes in and everyone she cares about. she has a sarcastic and bitchy side as well, though the bitchy side is rarely seen. usually she just kicks back and goes with the flow. she pretty much needs just about everything.


friends: cortlyn has a lot of friends, simply because she's so outgoing and talkative and loves to meet new people. she definitely needs an inner circle of friends she's known for a while and can trust more than anything. she could also use some acquaintances and friends she's just met or just getting to know. she doesn't really party too much, so she doesn't really have a lot of drinking buddies.

enemies: enemies might be a stretch for cortlyn, unless they think she's annoying in being too nice, or that she has too much going on in the way of her environmentalism and activism and stuff. people might think she's a hippie and consequently she could get on their nerves. she does have a very stubborn and sarcastic side, so that might rub people the wrong way as well, even though she's usually just joking. she is very outspoken and opinionated, so if she doesn't like you, you'll definitely know it.

lovers: cortlyn is a complete hopeless romantic, so i could see her having a few exes, maybe a fling or two. she doesn't really do hookups or fuck buddies, and if she were to have a friends with benefits relationship, it wouldn't have been intentional. she would have thought it was going to go somewhere. for a future love, i'm trying to work something out right now, but leave me ideas and we can go from there!

i think these two should totally be friends - but only when everleigh is sober/clean. maybe they've known each other all their life because their mothers and/or family in general (whichever works best for your character's history) were friends or something, and everleigh has always looked up to cortlyn as an older sister. and cortlyn can make it perfectly clear to everleigh that she won't hang out with her if she's drunk and/or high. i could see cortlyn helping everleigh kick her drug addiction - or at least trying. sound good?

that sounds good! cort would definitely want to be there for everleigh, but most of all, she would want to try and help her. she would be a good support system for the younger girl. we should IM them or something soon (:

Alright, so I've got Harlow here. She's nineteen and originally from Franklin, TN. She's an artist, musician, and songwriter and has lived in L.A. since she was fourteen because of her dad's job transfer. She's down to earth, naive, quiet, sensitive, and friendly. She's firecely loyal to her friends and the person you can turn to for advice, even though her life hasn't always been picture perfect. When she was seventeen, she was in a bad car accident which resulted in her being in the hospital for about four months. The worst thing that happened to her was that her left leg had to be amputated from the knee down and now she has a prosthetic, but she gets around normally and doesn't talk about her accident much. As if her life can't get any worse, she's been feeling ill for about a month, but hasn't told anyone or gone to the the doctor yet...soon, she's going to find out she has leukemia, but she's not going to tell any of her friends.

As for Harlow and Cortlyn, I can see them as good/close friends, because they are both artistic, sweet, sarcastic, and stubborn. Harlow's fiercely loyal to her friends and would definitely be someone that would get along well with Cortlyn.
